Education

Theatre education in the post-Soviet space is almost always tied to the state — or to the market. arten builds a third way: training inside an independent laboratory, where people learn by rehearsing and releasing real work.

Uzhe Course

The first theatre course of arten: five days a week — acting and speech training, physical theatre, verbatim playwriting, rhythmics, seminars on Hegel and Lacan, history of theatre. The course runs on the theatre's own teaching methods; its goal is a professional company grown inside the theatre.
