In class, the play was analyzed. "People in the world live by the rules of the game, while we in the theatre play by the rules of life."
We discussed the day's events, identified common themes, and then stepped outside the theatre for 15 minutes. The show was born
They pounded out a unified rhythm and took turns improvising with the rhythmic pattern. Learned how to identify strong beats, and broke down additional beats: snare and percussion.
The verbatim track's interviews started folding into the acting track's scenes.
